National Alliance (Australia) : ウィキペディア英語版 | National Alliance (Australia)
The National Alliance was an Australian political party of the early 1970s. The party was formed in Western Australia (WA) as a result of a merger between the WA Country Party and WA Democratic Labor Party (DLP). The National Alliance contested the WA state elections in March 1974, winning more than 8.5% of the primary vote. They contested the following Federal election in May, winning 10.7% of the primary vote in WA, and secured a seat with candidate (Tom Drake-Brockman) in the Senate (Upper House) of the Australian Parliament. The party went back to calling itself the Country Party, soon after the 1974 elections.
